Treating the Body
Your recovery first focuses on the body with a safe, effective detox. All addiction programs offer detox to prepare the body for treatment. Ours combines traditional and naturopathic therapy to fully strengthen your body for the work ahead. These include nutritional IV therapy, dry sauna, acupuncture, massage therapy, and amino acid therapy.
Healing the Mind
Once you have completed detox, we will begin helping you to heal your mind by teaching you new ways of thinking – about the stresses that may have led you to addiction and new, better ways of coping with them. Our addiction treatment plans are customized to address each client’s individual needs; yours will provide individual, group, or family counseling and various therapies such as yoga, meditation, and psychiatric care. In addition, you may receive treatment for co-occurring disorders, in which addiction manifests a more profound emotional or psychological condition. Both must be treated together, or neither can be conquered.
Restoring the Spirit
The final stage of treatment focuses on your inner self, providing strategies to help you continue sobriety long after you leave the safety of our facility. This process does not mean following a religious path, although worship services are available to those who want to participate. The goal is simply to help you find the inner resources to deal with the world around you.
Our Ongoing Recovery Support and Alumni Program
Our program does not end after you complete all stages of treatment. As a River Source alumnus, you will be offered continuing care with online fellowship, in-person meetings and workshops, and a community of support from other alumni sharing your journey. The alumni program also maintains a 24-hour hotline if you are at risk of relapsing or have other questions or concerns about your sobriety.
